A few things to know.
Is it free?
Yes. Warranty tracking, attachments, reminder settings and manual backups are free. No subscription or account is required.
Where are my receipts stored?
In the app’s storage on your device. Warranties does not run its own cloud service. Android may back up or transfer app data depending on your device settings.
Does a backup include photos and documents?
Yes. Your selected warranties and their attachments are included in a single JSON file. Backups are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere private. The limit is 100 MB per backup and 20 MB per attachment.
Will importing replace my existing warranties?
No. Imported items appear in the Restored section. Add the ones you want to keep or remove them individually. Existing warranties, language and reminder settings stay unchanged.
When will I get a reminder?
Choose 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 week, 5 days or 1 day before expiry. Notifications need your permission and are scheduled around 10:00 local time. Android and battery settings may delay delivery.
